COMMENTS: I have just discovered your sight while looking for some ideas for den meetings. I have looked around for about ten minutes, and am sending your sight address to my 4 new den leaders. The Bingham area has not had scouting for around 30 years, and naturaly being an Eagle Scout when the first of my four boys became scout age I wes looking for a pack. Our unit commisioner (a close friend) said that our only option at the time was the Loan Scout Program. Then the next year 2005 my second son became ready to join. I told John that I needed a form, and he said that it was time to create a new pack. Last year our pack was 3 strong, and with our charter papers saying that we can de a quality unit with 5 or less boys we were off and running. (We live in the Booneys.) This year we found out that 2 other communities within 60 miles of us (close distance for us) have not had Scouts for many years. So at the next round table I asked our district commisioner if I could recruit in that area. Now we have 20 boys, and are going strong. Thank you for setting up your sight, and I hope that our scouting stroy you find interesting. yours in Scouting Benjamin R. Rowe Pack 214 BIngham, NE

COMMENTS: Wow....What an awsome site. Thank you for taking the time to put it together. It certainly is helping with creating stuff for my boys. I also get to spend time with my dad while building this stuff. Today it's teeter boards out of 3/4" plywood and 2X6's. Please email me if you would like some really cool ideas for recycling to create the rain gutter regata. May the Great Master of all scouts watch over us until we meet again.

COMMENTS: Hey, We are just starting up a group of Cub Scouts. We kinda got throwed into being leaders and assistants. So..us mothers are brand new at this cub scouting!!!We are leaders of Wolves. and our 1st den meeting is tomorrow night. I found your sight, and it really, really is a big help. We don't even have our leader book, yet!!! Thanks for all the info; and if you have any advice ; please send them to me. We got toi keep these boys busy!! Thanks, Brigette
The best advice is to take a deep breath and then have fun. If you are having fun and the boys are too, then you're off to a good start. Yes, Get the Leader Book and program Helps and the How-To-Book too. If you haven't yet, take the Fast Start Training.

COMMENTS: what are some hypothesis i can make for my science project called the crystal garden
You might try to explain why crystals have certain geometric shapes or what determines the colors, esspecially if there are different colored crystals. A good hypothesis should try to predict what future tests or measurements might support your hypothesis.
