National Jamboree-2005

Both of us are active with the Boy Scouts of America. We are members of the Cascade Pacific Council in Portland, OR. Bill is still doing web stuff on Cub Scout Roundtables and is a council rep to the National BSA.

Both of us went to the 2001 nd 2005 National Scout Jamboree in Virginia where we worked with some wonderful people from all over the US. We were surprised to see a Unitarian-Universalist service held there and had some good converastaions with their reperesentatives.

We will be working with some folks in Central Florida Council this winter doing some training.

Hajime went on to do his Scouting in Japan and completed his Kiku (Chrysanthamum) award there. Both he and Mamo have been very active in Scout Group 1 of Kodaira and are now in the Venture program there.
